The love and blessings of parents is always there with children. It is a common saying that somethings are taken for granted but you realise their value once they are no longer there. Having lost Mom when the full impact of COVID-19 pandemic had just stuck and personal as well as professional routine had slowed down substantially, we got ample time to reflect on our relationships with our parents and dig into our roots. We then realized that the saying “whatever we are is due to our parents” holds very true for us. A lot of nostalgic memories started flowing through our minds and were reinforced when close relatives and friends got in touch to give condolences. It then stuck that it would be great if we could capture those memories. One could then go through this resource at leisure later on in life. It would also be useful in introducing the subsequent generations to their lineage. This was the concept with which we decided to work on this resource. The strong influence of the dedication, devotion, love, affection and blessings of our parents inspired the name MATA PITA KI ASEES
