It was always a pleasure meeting aunty ji..
I came to her close contact when we shifted to Vasant Kunj in 2017 June. It was always pleasure meeting her. She will greet with of love and compassion. She will make you feel very comfortable in her home. At that time she was used to walk with her walker. She will sit and talk little knick knacks of my home and give her advice to the questions which I used to ask her. Her morning starts with prayers to God. Afterwards would go to the physiotherapy centre. Once back she will make you to have something of your choice, although she was used to be exhausted. She was a superb host. She will offer you meals of your choice. She will make you to have deliciously prepared food for you. She was a very compassionate woman.
After some time Aunty Ji became weak. Her morning to afternoon were passed by listening to the holy chants on the PTC channel. Whenever in doubts, I used to ask her on Gurbani, she will instantly reply with meaning and significance on that topic. After some rest in the afternoon, she used to listen to the Shabad Kirtan. In Dec-2019 Shabad Kirtan conducted at their residence. She was over looking it with a great zeal. For all throughout she was sitting on the wheelchair in front of Guru Granth Sahib (altar) listening, to the Kirtan all the time. Her mind was engrossed in the listening and enjoying Shabad Kirtan conducted by Granthees.
In the last few months our revered Aunty Ji, became frail and many pipes were there on her body. Whenever I used to ask her “How are you Aunty Ji”? Her reply used to be– “Jaise Guru Maharaj Rakhe”
There were never any complaints or resentments. One should learn this. I really liked her outlook to the day-to-day problems.
Last few days she was on bed but there were no less care for the visitors who came to meet her. She will explain with her gestures to make you feel loved.
I am very fortunate to know her and receive her blessings. I am thankful to the universe for sending me to her life and get her company which was very soothing and calming. Her favorite flowers are “Red Roses”. I am offering to her divine feet. Her motto in the life was:
Let us behold thee in all these name and fames
Let us ever remember thee
Let thee name be on our lips
Let us abide in the thee forever and ever
May I always receive her love from the Heavens above
Let it be so
