She was so motherly..

I was blessed to become so special & close to Maataji. She was so motherly... loving & affectionate to me...In spite of her multiple medical problems, she had strong will power with positive mindset inspiring others to fight. She was always having so much concerns for others sharing feelings of others.

She had tremendous trust & faith on me. She used to always call me "you're my Son". Never can I forget her tender soft blessing hand on my head whenever she used to meet me. I still feel it & will feel it for ever.

My heartfelt tribute to you Maataji.

Her benign presence is missed..

I know respected Aunty Ji since my MBBS days. As a student, I was used to visit their home in the evening. She used to arrive back from her office and prepare hot meals and serve with a smiling face to everyone.

Whenever I visited their home, she will be ready to serve breakfast / lunch / dinner whatever be the time. She will provide so happily and I always felt part of the family. Now in later years when she was unwell, I used to meet her daily being her treating physician. She had fighting spirit to come out of any major sickness. She was not discouraged by any problem whatsoever. In spite of multiple health issues, she was always welcoming to everybody at home.

She was very caring and a loving mother. Like before I was always touched by her hospitality. Her benign presence is missed now. I am really fortunate that respected Aunty Ji blessed our lives. I am really thankful to God for this. Whenever I visit home I miss her tranquil presence. May her soul rest in eternal peace !!

It was always a pleasure meeting aunty ji..

I came to her close contact when we shifted to Vasant Kunj in 2017 June. It was always pleasure meeting her. She will greet with of love and compassion. She will make you feel very comfortable in her home. At that time she was used to walk with her walker. She will sit and talk little knick knacks of my home and give her advice to the questions which I used to ask her. Her morning starts with prayers to God. Afterwards would go to the physiotherapy centre. Once back she will make you to have something of your choice, although she was used to be exhausted. She was a superb host. She will offer you meals of your choice. She will make you to have deliciously prepared food for you. She was a very compassionate woman.

After some time Aunty Ji became weak. Her morning to afternoon were passed by listening to the holy chants on the PTC channel. Whenever in doubts, I used to ask her on Gurbani, she will instantly reply with meaning and significance on that topic. After some rest in the afternoon, she used to listen to the Shabad Kirtan. In Dec-2019 Shabad Kirtan conducted at their residence. She was over looking it with a great zeal. For all throughout she was sitting on the wheelchair in front of Guru Granth Sahib (altar) listening, to the Kirtan all the time. Her mind was engrossed in the listening and enjoying Shabad Kirtan conducted by Granthees.

In the last few months our revered Aunty Ji, became frail and many pipes were there on her body. Whenever I used to ask her “How are you Aunty Ji”? Her reply used to be– “Jaise Guru Maharaj Rakhe”

There were never any complaints or resentments. One should learn this. I really liked her outlook to the day-to-day problems.

Last few days she was on bed but there were no less care for the visitors who came to meet her. She will explain with her gestures to make you feel loved.

I am very fortunate to know her and receive her blessings. I am thankful to the universe for sending me to her life and get her company which was very soothing and calming. Her favorite flowers are “Red Roses”. I am offering to her divine feet. Her motto in the life was:

Let us behold thee in all these name and fames

Let us ever remember thee

Let thee name be on our lips

Let us abide in the thee forever and ever

May I always receive her love from the Heavens above

Let it be so

She was highly enthusiastic,..

During the past 20 years of my association with ISIC, I had the opportunity to regularly interact with Aunty.

She was full of life and curiosity. She had the rare ability to connect with people quickly and get along with anyone regardless of age or level and have a polite conversation on a very wide range of topics.

As an individual, she was highly enthusiastic, whether in functions, home parties or hospital visits. On a few occasions, she was a brave patient, who would happily walk into the Intensive Care area, to get herself pricked for giving arterial samples for testing her blood gas levels. Even when on a ventilator support, she was very positive and would love to eat her favorite food!

I never saw her refusing to accept any treatment modality including multiple pricking for veinous access. Even in the face of extreme sickness, she was a cooperative patient and retained her cheerfulness. This encouraged all ICU staff to perform at their best and also set an example for other patients.

We remember her very fondly.

Her affectionate nature..

"Mata ji", the salutation with which she was addressed, depicted an exceptional bond she shared without being related through any blood relationship with us. Her concern for me and my family, specially for my husband whom she called "damad ji", can never be forgotten.

Her willingness to express her love unconditionally with everyone nurtured a special bond. Her affectionate nature has etched a special place in my heart which will remain till eternity with me. Her ever smiling face gave me strength amidst bad office days to cheer up and fight again. She was a lady with great courage and strength. I admire her for her determination to never give up and standing tall always come what may.

My heartfelt tribute to you Maataji.

I sincerely wish for her happiness wherever she is.

Aunty Ji, you have always enlightened us..

As they say, 'we meet to part and part to meet'

It is hard to believe that I have physically parted ways from someone, who has been like a mother to me and my family. Strong, religious, happy, caring, dignified, full of life: the list can go on and on.... her beautiful smile flashes in front of my eyes, which can never be replicated.

My heart is filled with cocktail of emotions, remembering the person, who treated the members of ISIC like her own family.

I can't hold my tears, remembering those beautiful moments, I spent with Auntyji during my stay at ISIC campus. How can I forget the words she mentioned to my husband when she attended my wedding : "humne bahut achchi ladki di hai aapko, iska achche se dhyaan rakhna".

She has been an integral part of my professional life since 1998 and personal life always. I wish, I had the words to express my gratitude!

Auntiji you have always enlightened us here on earth and we are sure you will continue to bless everyone out there in heaven !!

My heartfelt gratitude to you dear Aunty ji, until we meet next !!

Prayers. Love. Respect..
